I had a pastor who loved Halloween, which bothered some in our congregation. He made his case that it was the best day of the year for enjoying community in his neighborhood. As we enter several months of holidays which have built-in opportunities to strengthen our community and brighten up our neighbor’s day, Sherry and I would like to invite you to participate in our annual food drive that supports the Care Cottage, a county Food Bank distribution partner, offering holiday food supplies to some of our neighbors. It's a tangible way to make a difference, restoring humanity to ourselves as well as others.
If you are interested in donating, please see the shopping list below and contact us to schedule a pickup time.
We will also be collecting for One Warm Coat again this year if you want to start gathering for that December collection.
